before you get any ideas it's about being in the entertainment industry, i wrote it because i watched a tv show that seemed to dispose of its extras as quickly as they were hired

show you the stars
then crush you where you stand
drain you of blood
prostitute your body
dissect your insides
and put you on display

this is what you get
for trusting, you deserve this

a hollow of shell of broken pieces

a lifetime of regrets

and after all the long years
